The Trustee Educational Seminar is specifically geared to new and novice trustees who are seeking to learn information and skills that will allow them to better serve as fiduciaries for the benefit of employees, retirees and beneficiaries of the nation’s public pension funds. TEDS provides an introduction to fiduciary responsibilities for new plan trustees and serves as a refresher for those who have limited experience in pension plan trusteeship. Educational seminars on investing, legal requirements and trustee ethics are part of the syllabus for TEDS. Attendance at TEDS also provides trustees with eight hours of continuing education credit.

The 2008 Trustee Educational Seminar will be held May 16-17 at the Hilton Riverside New Orleans in New Orleans, LA.
